16 August 2024, FPAN conducted one day orientation on Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) to FPAN's Service Providers. The program was supported by NCASC and EpiC Project, FHI 360. The program was chaired by FPAN Executive Director Dr. Prabin Shakya with the valued chief guests Dr. Sarbesh Sharma, Director of National Centre for AIDS and STD Control (NCASC), Ministry of Health and Population, and Dr. Durga Bhandari, Deputy Director, EpiC Project, FHI 360.

FPAN has recently started PreP service from its Itahari and Palpa clinics. PrEP is provided to the people who are HIV negative and at high risk of being exposed to HIV through sex or injection drug use.
