Family Planning Association of Nepal (FPAN) organized a session on GBV on 4 December 20023, at Jana Premi College to mark the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence. The focus was specifically on 'Gender-Based Violence faced by LGBTIQA+.' This educational initiative sought to shed light on the unique challenges and forms of violence encountered by the LGBTIQA+ community. By engaging with students at Jana Premi College, FPAN aimed to increase awareness, foster inclusivity, and encourage discussions surrounding the importance of combating discrimination and violence based on gender identity and sexual orientation. The session aimed to empower individuals to contribute to a safer and more equitable society.
